Terms of Use & Sale
Last updated: 22/07/2026.
1. Purpose
AmiAmor (the “Service”) lets users create online tribute pages in memory of a deceased pet: a photo, a story, a wall of candles and a guestbook. The Service is free. These terms govern access to and use of the Service, as well as the voluntary support users may choose to give it.
2. Publisher
The Service is published by FPH, a single-member limited liability company (SARLU/EURL) with share capital of 177,000 € (SIREN 932 293 129), registered office at 2 rue Percheronne, 28000 Chartres, France. Full details are in the Legal Notice.
3. Account & access
An account is created solely when a user makes a tribute page, by validating their email address. Login uses a one-time code sent by email. The user is responsible for keeping access to their email account.
4. User content
The user remains the owner of the content they publish (photos, texts, names). By publishing, they grant AmiAmor a non-exclusive licence to host and display that content for the operation of the Service. The user warrants that they hold the necessary rights and that the content is lawful. AmiAmor may remove any content that is unlawful, infringing or contrary to the dignity of the Service, without notice.
5. Free service
Creating, publishing and keeping a tribute page online are entirely free, with no time limit. AmiAmor charges nothing for creation, hosting or any feature, and requires no payment details to publish a page. A published page is kept online for as long as the AmiAmor service exists. The user may, at any time, request changes to or deletion of their page. If the Service ceases, reasonable prior notice is sent by email, where an address is associated with the page, so that content can be exported.
6. Voluntary support & invoicing
The user, like any visitor, may support AmiAmor with a one-time, voluntary donation of any amount. This donation is not the purchase of goods or a service: it grants no benefit in return, unlocks no feature and changes nothing about the tribute page, which remains free and preserved under the same conditions whether or not the user supports the Service. Payment is processed by our provider Stripe; AmiAmor does not store card details. A receipt is issued and emailed automatically after the donation, and remains available from the “My payments” page. Amounts are inclusive of all taxes; the applicable French VAT at 20 % appears on the receipt.
7. Donations and withdrawal
As the donation is voluntary, has no counterpart and is carried out immediately, it does not fall within the scope of distance-selling contracts granting a statutory right of withdrawal. A donation made in error may nonetheless be refunded amicably, within a reasonable time, by writing to contact@amiamor.pet.
8. Affiliate links
AmiAmor may suggest memorial products (photo books, portraits, keepsakes) via partner links and may receive a commission on resulting sales. Those products are sold and shipped by the partners, under their own terms; AmiAmor is not a party to those sales.
9. Personal data
AmiAmor processes the data needed to run the Service (email, published content, a hashed IP for anti-spam). The user has rights of access, rectification and erasure, exercisable at contact@amiamor.pet. See the Legal Notice for details.
10. Cookies
The Service uses cookies strictly necessary for operation (session, language and theme preferences). Any future measurement or advertising cookie will only be set with the user’s consent.
11. Intellectual property
The AmiAmor name, design and software are protected. Any reproduction without authorisation is prohibited. This does not affect the rights users hold over their own content.
12. Liability
AmiAmor strives to keep the Service available and to preserve published pages but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or be held liable for indirect damages. The user remains solely responsible for the content they publish.
13. Term & termination
The user may request deletion of their page and account at any time. AmiAmor may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
14. Governing law & dispute resolution
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the user must first send a written complaint to AmiAmor (at contact@amiamor.pet). Failing a satisfactory reply within two months, the user may refer the matter free of charge, in accordance with Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, to the consumer mediator that AmiAmor is affiliated with: CM2C — Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris (www.cm2c.net). A consumer residing in another EU Member State may also turn to the mediation scheme or the European Consumer Centre of their country of residence.
